I'm doing some research on Hitler, social Darwinism, and the Ocult. The Nazis were clearly social Dawinists. And this was the philosophy behind their policy of euthanizing fellow Germans who were mentally or physically handicapped (the one Nazi policy that the German people actually did rise up and protest against), and their genocidal policies toward ethnic groups they considered inferior (and unfit for survival.) This is obvious (even if some admirers of Charles Darwin don't like to see him associated with Hitler.)

Here is evidence of their social Darwinism from an official Nazi publication.

"The laws of nature are the laws of selection. Humanity has sinned against these laws by protecting the unfit. The pity we show the weak, the sick, the crippled, is cruelty toward the coming generations."

(Rassenpolitische Erziehung, Heft 1, Rassenpolitisches Amt der NSDAP, Berlin 1936, p. 12. Reprinted in Robert N. Proctor, Racial Hygiene: Medicine Under the Nazis, Harvard University Press 1988, p. 38.)

So the connection between Naziism and Darwinism is undeniable.

And though less obvious (and downplayed by those who dislike anything that might imply the existence of God or the devil), a connection between Hitler and the ocult is equally certain.

This is because Hitler clearly believed in a god (or gods), and it clearly was not the Christian God (for whom he had contempt.)

Albert Speer remembered him saying:

"You see, it's been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn't we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion (Islam) too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?"

(Albert Speer, Inside the Third Reich: Memoirs [German original: Erinnerungen, Propyläen 1969]- English translation by Richard and Clara Winston- Macmillan, New York 1970-Page 96.)

So Hitler hated the religion of Christ.

But he did believe in the unseen (and a god, or gods.)

In Mein Kampf (and later speeches) he said "I walk the path that 'Providence' bids me, with the sureness of a sleepwalker (ich gehe den Weg, den die Vorsehung mich gehen heiẞt, mit der Sich heit eines Nachwandlers)."

At Nuremberg and in his memoirs, Field Marshal Keitel said (regarding Hitler's ordering his troops in Moscow to fight to the last man) "he would not listen to any operational reasoning. He said his inner voice told him we must not retreat a meter."

Goebbels diary, January 19th, 1943 "the Führer speaks with resignation...he says the goddess of fortune has been unfaithful to us."

Albert Speer said "Hitler was convinced he possessed a sixth sense...he spoke often of the inner voice that told him what was right"

(Inside The Third Reich, 1969.)

Goebbles diary entry for March 1943 (Frohlich edition, Vol. 7), "The Führer is of the opinion that one must not try to foresee things that are in the lap of the gods."

So the man responsible for the most human suffering in the 20th century (and possibly in history) hated the Christian Church (and the virtues of kindness and pity) and believed he was being guided by an unseen hand.

We know that many members of his inner circle (like Himmler) worshiped the old Nordic gods.

And he somehow gained control over a whole nation, and led it straight to ruin.

I believe someone really was talking to him (and it wasn’t God.)

He's almost certainly still in hell.

But I believe that when he has suffered long enough and deeply enough (in the very shoes, and through the eyes, of the millions who suffered under his cruelty), if he repents, he will be freed from the otherworldly concentration camp he built for himself (with the help of the voice he obeyed).

But only after all his earthly victims have been in heaven a long time.

During life (like Himmler, who's SS ran the death camps, and who reportedly couldn't stop vomiting the one time he went on an inspection tour) he was mostly able to insulate himself from the horror of the world he created. And to enjoy his creature comforts oblivious to it, while he basked in the misguided worship of his followers.

But that ended when he shot himself in the head (to escape capture by Russian troops on April 30th 1945.)
