...other foundation no man can lay, but that which is laid; which is Christ Jesus. Now if any man build upon this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble: Every man's work shall be manifest; for the day of the Lord shall declare it, because it shall be revealed in fire; and the fire shall try every man's work, of what sort it is. If any man's work abide, which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work burn, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire. (1 Corinthians 3:11-15.)

Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny. (Matthew 5:26.)

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his throne of glory; and all the nations will be assembled before him, and he will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the kid goats, and will set the sheep to his right, but the kid goats to the left. Then the King will say to those to his right, "Come, you blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the cosmos. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; naked and you clothed me; I was ill and you took care of me; I was in prison and you came to me." Then the just will answer him, saying, "When did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and give you hospitality, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you ill or in prison and come to you?" And in reply the King will say to them, "Amen, I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me." Then he will say to those on his left as well, "Go from my presence, you accursed ones, into the fire of the ages, which has been prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, and I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink. I was a stranger and you did not take me in, naked and you did not clothe me, ill and in prison and you did not look after me." Then they too will answer, saying, "Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and did not attend to you?" Then he will answer them, saying, "Amen, I tell you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these my brothers, neither did you do it to me." And these will go to the chastening (the Greek “kolasis” was originally used of the pruning of trees, and the cutting away of dead growth) of that Age, but the just to the life of that Age.” (Matthew 25:31-46, David Bently Hart Translation.)

Do not be deceived. God will not be made a fool. For a person will reap what he sows. (Galatians 6:7.)

...a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give continuous life to those who are struggling to do good, and seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth, and who live lives of wickedness. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil...(Romans 2:5-9.)

...One day a king decided to call in his officials and ask them to give an account of what they owed him. As he was doing this, one official was brought in who owed him 50,000,000 silver coins. But he didn't have any money to pay what he owed. The king ordered him to be sold, along with his wife and children and all he owned, in order to pay the debt. The official got down on his knees and began begging, “Have pity on me, and I will pay you every cent I owe!” The king felt sorry for him and let him go free. He even told the official that he did not have to pay back the money. But as this official was leaving, he happened to meet another official, who owed him 100 silver coins. So he grabbed the man by the throat. He started choking him and said, “Pay me what you owe!”The man got down on his knees and began begging, “Have pity on me, and I will pay you back.” But the first official refused to have pity. Instead, he went and had the other official put in jail until he could pay what he owed. When some other officials found out what had happened, they felt sorry for the man who had been put in jail. Then they told the king what had happened. The king called the first official back in and said, “You're an evil man! When you begged for mercy, I said you did not have to pay back a cent. Don't you think you should show pity to someone else, as I did to you?” The king was so angry that he ordered the official to be tortured until he could pay back everything he owed. That is how my Father in heaven will treat you, if you don't forgive each of my followers with all your heart. (Matt. 18:23-35.)
