I'm doing some research on Hitler, social Darwinism, and the Ocult. The Nazis were definitely social Dawinists. And this is the philosophy behind their policy of euthanizing fellow Germans who were mentally or physically handicapped (the one Nazi policy that the German people actually did rise up and protest), and their genocidal policies toward ethnic groups they considered inferior (and unfit for suvival.) This is obvious (even if now downplayed by some secular historians.) And, though less obvious (and also now downplayed) there was a connection between Hitler and the ocult (or paganism.) Because Hitler clearly believed in a god (or gods), and it clearly was not the Christian God (for whom he had contempt.)
Albert Speer remembered him saying:
"You see, it's been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn't we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?"

So Hitler hated the religion of Christ.
But he did believe in the unseen (and a god or gods.)
In Mein Kampf (and later speeches) he said "I walk the path that 'Providence' bids me, with the sureness of a sleepwalker (ich gehe den Weg, den die Vorsehung mich gehen heiẞt, mit der Sich heit eines Nachwandlers)." In January 1942, he was recorded (by Martin Boreman, in "Hitler's Table talk") as saying "like a somnabulist (sleepwalker) I followed the voice within me" (when he decided to reoccupy the Rhineland, against the advice of his generals, in 1936.)
At Nuremberg and in his memoirs, Field Marshal Keitel said (regarding Hitler's ordering his troops in Moscow to fight to the last man) "he would not listen to any operational reasoning. He said his inner voice told him we must not retreat a meter."
Goebbels diary, January 19th, 1943 "the Führer speaks with resignation...he says the goddess of fortune has been unfaithful to us."
Albert Speer said "Hitler was convinced he possessed a sixth sense...he spoke often of the inner voice that told him what was right"

I believe Hitler followed something he falsely identified as Providence. And that someone really was talking to him. But it wasn’t God. The fact that he was responsible for the murder of millions of innocent civilians, and that he led his own nation to ruin is evidence of the dark force that guided him. And I believe he's almost certainly still with his dark lord in a purgatorial hell of his own making. But when he's suffered long enough and deeply enough (in the shoes of the millions who suffered under his cruelty), I believe he will be freed from the otherworldly concentration camp he built (with the help of the voice he listened to). But only after all his victims have been in heaven a long time.
